The Newborn Experience
There is nothing more beautiful than capturing your newborn baby’s first few days or weeks of life. MTW Studio Portraits is proud to provide a one of kind experience and create breathtaking portraits that celebrate the new addition to your family. We understand the importance of preserving your family’s precious moments.
We recommend scheduling your newborn session within the first 14 days. This is when we can capture those amazing shots because the baby is flexible and sleeping. If they are awake and moving their muscles, it is not safe to pose them in many of the newborn poses that make your session special. Day 5 is the sweet spot. Baby is still used to being in the womb and will not mind while we’re curling them into those adorable poses. While we can capture beautiful images at any stage, keep in mind that beyond those first days we will not be able to get the sleepy, curled poses and your newborn will hand held during the session.
We offer different types of newborn sessions, all to suit your lifestyle and budget. All newborn sessions are only for babies under 14 days old. All newborn sessions are tailored specifically for your baby and your family. After you have scheduled your session, we will send you more information and tips about your session.
Sessions can take place in our Pearland studio or in your home with professional lighting and backdrops. All sessions are 100% private. We supply all props and wraps, but you are more than welcome to bring any special items you may have received like hand made blankets or monogrammed items. During your session, there may be frequent pauses to feed or to change sets or positions. We will take it slow and expect to follow their schedule these lovely new babies need extra patience and care.
After your session, you will schedule a reveal session approximately 1 week after your session. You will be able to see all of your images and select your artwork, images, or package. Your completed images and artwork will take approximately 2-3 weeks to edit. We spend lots of time making sure these portraits of your new bundle are perfect.
